Public Shaming

First Lady Michelle Obama showed at the Oscars to present Argo with the award for Best Picture. Now, it is completely fine to take issue with this. I enjoy a Michelle Obama appearance but the only thing that could have made her presenting a Best Picture award weirder would’ve been if Zero Dark Thirty won.

However, over in weird right wing world…

There’s ol’ Benghazi.

There’s the old “Moochelle is a moocher” meme, which we all know what that really means.

There’s name-calling over her attempt to try and make kid’s eat healthy.

There’s people who still cannot get over the fact that the Romney’s are not in the White House.

There were a slew of people calling the first lady a “fame whore.” By the way, Laura Bush made an Oscars appearance in 2002. Ronald Reagan made an Oscars appearance too.

There was sexism.

And finally, there was pure out and out racism…
